There must be countless ways to approach the creative process, but for me, an emotional connection to the subject must come first.  I then go to work using value, color, and shapes to make a strong composition that focuses the viewer on my vision. I hope the thrill I receive during this interactive process can be seen in my paintings and will strike a chord with you!
